OUR CLASS DRAMA: PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

As I wrote about Phantom of the Opera last week, it's actually the clue for the title of our class Drama. The story was choosen since it consists of lots of story to tell and very suitable for us.
.
The story is actually one of the literature components for form 2 students. The photo on the left shows the actor and actress of our class drama (of course they're from 3 Kualiti 2009). I, Hafizul afifi act as Monsieur Armand (one of the directors of the Paris Opera House). I am the one with black (or actually dark grey suit.

The director of this story is Haziq Asyraf. Those are the names of the actor and actress:

  • Narrator - Hadzirah and Dalilah
  • Opera Ghost (Erik) - Alif
  • Raoul - Luqman Samad
  • Christine Daee' - Amirul Asyraf Yazid (MAA)
  • Persian - Akmal
  • Monsieur Armand - Hafizul Afifi
  • Monsieur Firmin - Amir Thaqiff
  • La Carlotta - Sarah Nur Alya
  • Medame Giry - Haziqah
  • Meg Giry - Farah Diyana
  • Tall girl - Amalina

Who more? Please inform me those names...

Yeah, our class show was fine and better than we expected. 3 Optimist do their movie titled "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" while the another class made their presentation titled "Life's a brief candle"... All of us think that we did our best, but I still remember my word;

Do believe that you didn’t did the best,
But, do better to be the best,
Believe you can do it better than you did,
Because it’s the only way to BE THE BEST!

Thus, we are not supposed to think we did our best because I am sure that we can do much better than we did!

Yet, it is so meaningful and gives me satisfaction. My next year theme? Wait for that in my upcoming posts...

'Proto-Malays the origins of the human race'

Research in archaeology and genetics could very well prove that the ancient Proto-Malays living in the Sunda Shelf were the ancestors of the human population today. The term Proto-Malay, which translates to Melayu asli (aboriginal Malay) or Melayu purba (ancient Malay), refers to the Mongoloids and Austronesian speakers from mainland Asia who moved to the Malay peninsular and Malay archipelago in a long series of migrations between 2500 and 1500 BC. The Proto-Malays are believed to be seafarers knowledgeable in oceanography and possessing advanced fishing as well as basic agricultural skills. They moved around from island to island in great distances between New Zealand and Madagascar, and they served as navigation guides, crew and labour to Indian, Arab, Persian and Chinese traders for nearly 2000 years. Over the years, they settled at various places and adopted various cultures and religions as a result of acculturation and interracial and inter-tribal marriages with mos...
