Kontradiksi Diri

Bait-bait askara kata
tercetus ilham terisimewa
angin senja berlalu di ufuk buana
seluang lincah melawan arus
membentuk keindahan fana,maka
bermulanya epilog kontradiksi diri

Apabila eksplisit menduga implisit
igauan duka kembali menyentap diri
membenam lembah-lembah air di mata kehampaan
lalu mencuka gamitam momentum ketenangan
tak dapat mengejarnya kembali
walau kenengan manis berjaya dicungkil
di lubuk hati simpati
kerana perihal diri
pencetus polemik ini

Kebencian kontradiksi diri membuak-buak
di sudut hati kecil tersimpul utuh
sukar dihuraikan walau setitis pelerai ketenangan
kuasa pasi sukar dicapai
membentuk gerila ketahanan berpaksi
membuatku tertanya-tanya
mampukah ia bertahan?
menempis noda, khianat, hagas?
kebalkah?
nahu alam membuktikannya.

The Proto-Malays are believed to be seafarers knowledgeable in oceanography and possessing advanced fishing as well as basic agricultural skills. They moved around from island to island in great distances between New Zealand and Madagascar, and they served as navigation guides, crew and labour to Indian, Arab, Persian and Chinese traders for nearly 2000 years. Over the years, they settled at various places and adopted various cultures and religions as a result of acculturation and interracial and inter-tribal marriages with mos...
