I'll make this as simple as possible.
It is very unlikely there will be a war but if a war does occur, Indonesia will probably be the aggressor and Malaysia as the defender and it will end either as a stalemate or a treaty.
Why? Because if they does attack us, it will trigger FPDA(Five Power Defence Arrangements) and we'll receive aid from UK, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. UK and Singapore will help us hold them off on the front line from the invaders while Australia and New Zealand bomb them until they agree with a treaty. If Indonesia attack Australia, it will trigger ANZUS treaty and Indonesia will end up getting invaded by the US.
And if we doesn't receive any help, chances of us being able to hold them off is near slim but it isn't possible.
But no worries, war won't happen between us any time soon.
